The editor of this blog is Ronald Burgess, gggreat grandson of Keziah Burgess.
My mother Fae Bell Bugess got me interested in Keziah over the years because of her interest in genealogy. I do not consider myself a genealogist, as several very apt members of our family are. But I do love history and have become captivated by Keziah’s story. Her story is still unfolding as more research is done into her family and the times and locations of her life. Today we do know much more about Keziah than we did, just a few years ago, but the excitement is still rich as the mystery is slowly revealed. Ron lives in Southern California today, the final destination of his family’s westerd migration from the Atlantic starting nearly 400 years ago. All text and images are copyrighted 2009- 2014.
